Equipment
Schuster Company drivers operate International Eagle 9400i conventional
tractors with a 72” walk-in pro sleeper, an ISX Cummins engine
that puts out 475HP and 10-speed or auto shift transmissions,
and we also run some Peterbilts, Freightliners and Volvos. All Schuster
trucks are 2004 or newer. We run Thermo-King SB400 refrigeration
units with Great Dane trailers. Our Thermo King trailers contain
an additional 4” of floor insulation and 3” of wall
insulation allowing us to haul products at -20º and colder.
Mileage
Schuster Company runs 48 states and Canada so our drivers have
a chance to see a wide variety of destinations across the country.
On average, a driver’s mileage will range from 2,500 to 3,500
miles per week.
Home Time
Your time spent at home is as important to us as it is to you.
Schuster Company recognizes that family and friends are an important
part of everyone's life - including yours. Our drivers enjoy 5-10
days out at a time.
Safety
Schuster Company is proud to offer a drug-free workplace. All
applicants are required to submit a urine analysis and anyone testing
positive for banned substances will not be considered for employment.
Our new drivers are placed on a 90-day probationary period.
